These are all the passages where the word SLEEP is found in connection with death.The word SLEPT is used in MT.27: 1 COR.15:20 of death,and the phrase SLEPT WITH HIS FATHERS is used 36 times of death in the O.T.NOT ONE time is it stated that the SOUL SLEEPS.THE SOUL IS IMMORTAL (1PET3:4).The term SLEEP IN JESUS simply refers to those who were in CHRIST at their death.(1THESS4:14,16) *

Hi,just want 2 ask u, when we sleep at night is it our body dead for a while?And when we dream,and i can see my self in my dream is that a soul?Because it oftentimes happen to me..I am praying be4 i sleep, my dreams was not bad and when i wake up i feel i was there.Pls give an insight. *

Whea does the soul goes if its immortal? If u say heaven,then whats the purpose of christ second coming,is he coming 2 collect the bodies of the believer since the soul is oredy in heaven? *

Since the bible only says that Lazarus was poor beggar & nothing about his righteousness, will people enter heaven because of poverty? Is Abraham's bosom (verse 22 KJV) so huge that all the saved are carried there as the unsaved are buried as on this verse? You mean hell and heaven are such that people will be able to talk to each other? Will you enjoy heaven then while seeing some of your beloved ones shouting to you for water? Whats really the lesson in this story? Is it immortality of the soul or as on verse 13 of Luke 16? *

On Matthew 16:27 Christ is saying He will come again in His Father's glory and with His angels. Where are you getting the idea of Christ coming back with the soul's of the dead? Wasn't this the best time for Christ to mention that He will come back with the soul's of the believes? *
