There is Old Testament verses that can confuse ppl.
If they not DIGOUT the truth, about the dead.
We know all where the body (flesh) going, after death.
But what about the SOUL and SPIRIT?
I will explain some of it here.

1.SLEEP IN THE DUST:{Job7:21 Ps.22:15;146:4 Eccl.3:19-20 Dan12:2}only the body was made of dust and that is what will return to dust again {Gen2:7;3:19 Eccl3:20}the SOUL and SPIRIT r not made of material substances as the body so they will not return to dust. *

Fabugal, I'm in the Old Apostolic church maby I can put things into a diffrent light, the soul enters a condition of rest, not a specific place, its not like one can say oh, when I die my soul goes up to the sky, or what, It stays In the condition you left It when you went out of the flesh, like the bible says were the tree falls whether it be north or south there it shall stay Just the same if I am on my way to the bar and a car hits me when I cross the street, my body was taking my soul to that bar, because that is where I wanted to be, so My soul will continue on in that bar for a certain time until God has mercy to call me out of there. *

True serf ur soul either enters a heavenly condition or a hell of a condition. We say heaven is a condition of rest unto the soul. Any condition we have happens in a place. This place we dont know where it is but it is seperated from the world. *

To understand what the bible is teaching about the soul, spirit and body of man, one needs to look at the original language which is mainly Hebrew and greek in which the bible was written, then translated into diff. languages. This is also true of the place called Heaven, and Hell, where there is 3 diff. abodes of Hell as described throughout scripture, called Hades, Sheol and Tartarus in the original texts. i will therefore begin with a new topic first about the body, soul and spirit. *

again, what makes you say that, quote the things i said here in digout that makes you think i sometimes talk like an OAC. And as for what faith i belong to? I dont belong to a faith, but i do belong to Jesus Christ my Lord, King, and Master, amen, and i dont (belong) to any church either, Jesus has sole ownership of my heart, my life, my possessions. I am a member though, of a full pentecostal church, where i go for worship and fellowship. Pentecostal means where all the gifts of the Holy Spirit operates with power and visible signs, where the move of the Holy Spirit is present. *

I would advise serfie and brandts, to go and study the word of God (the bible) in context and relation to what the whole bible is saying, because what we are saying here, is according to scripture. The bible (Gods Word) is VERY clear to what happens to your soul and spirit immediately after you die, and it is told in no parables, Jesus tought about hell, But when He taught in parables He actually told them, this is a parable. I will therefore attempt to give you scripture ref. here, in the hope that you will go and read it also in your own bibles, so that you can gain knowledge about this subjects. *
