MAN IS A TRINITY. Trinity means three in one or a union of three, just like God is. Each part of man is EQUALLY IMPORTANT and DEPENDANT on the other. MAN IS A SPIRIT, possesses a SOUL, and dwells in a BODY. The spirit has no expression without the soul and the body i.e. in the earth. The body is lifeless and dead without the spirit and the soul. The soul exists because of the union of the spirit and the body. *

We will see in the scriptures that God places equal value on each of these 3 parts of man without overemphasizing any one of them. Some people place no value on the PHYSICAL part and overemphasize the SPIRITUAL or PSYCHOLOGICAL. Many write off the SOUL as evil along with the PHYSICAL. Many do not realize that God saw the physical so important that He, firstly, CREATED IT and secondly, HE BECAME A PHYSICAL MAN and suffered PHYSICAL PAIN to redeem man PHYSICALLY. Thirdly, the physical is so valuable to God that HE PLANNED THE RESURRECTION of the physical body to make it an IMMORTAL INCORRUPTABLE PHYSICAL BODY - and not a spiritual body as some suppose. *

Anyone who ever stood by someones death bed will know what im talking about. After you die and stop breathing, there is air that is left, and is breathed out from deep inside of you when you give your last breath.

As 6j0 already wrote in his topic about body sleeps, nt soul, the original word for spirit is the primary Hebrew word RUACH (pro nounced roo' aag) which litterally means BREATH or WIND. so when God breathed the breath of life into man HE placed His Spirit into man. The Greek word is PNEUMA which also means BREATH or WIND and is used for the Holy Spirit, the human spirit, angels of God, demons and evil spirits. *

It is the ability to distinguish between right and wrong in the inner man - it is a deep ingrained feeling for right and wrong. Rom. 8:16 The Spirit bears witness with OUR SPIRIT that we are children of God - When we walk and live in obedience to God's Word, we have a GOOD CONSCIENCE. We need to listen to our heart, which is the God-conscious part of man, we need to educate our conscience with the Word of God. Through lack of knowledge the conscience can be warped and unbalanced. For example, if we were brought up in a religious legalistic environment our conscience might be bound by human traditions - OR, if we were brought up in a licentious environment our conscience could be calloused and insensitive to what is riht or wrong. (Heb. 9:14) *

Endtimes u are a star in Gods eyes. I was born in the NG Church and still am NG. I have had alot to do with Old Apostolics. What u have said the last 2 hours no true Old A can go against. It is what they should believe if they follow their confession of faith. A pity alot of them change the word that comes to them. Some believe Jesus did walk on this earth and others he did not. If they had to stand together in one faith they will be the way the truth and the light. *

Everything in the physical world BEGINS IN THE SPIRIT. -Health, prosperity, life, etc. all begin in the spirit of man. On the other hand, sickness, poverty and death also begin in the spirit of man.
ADAM DIED SPIRITUALLY: When Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit, Gods word, which said YOU SHALL SURELY DIE, CAME TO PASS. How come they did not drop dead? THE EMOTIONAL FACULTY: Some people try to devalue the emotions of mankind, forgetting that GOD CREATED THE EMOTIONS and has EMOTIONS HIMSELF. This is the FEELING AREA, the unseen area in man that has feeling apart from the 5 physical senses. Although we are not to underrate the emotions, its important to realize that we are not to allow NEGATIVE EMOTIONS, or, even POSITIVE EMOTIONS to rule or govern us. THE MIND AND EMOTIONS ARE NOT TO DOMINATE MAN. *

THE VOLITIONAL FACULTY: This is the realm of the WILL OF MAN. The will is affected by various influences; the spirit, or the body through senses depending on which is allowed the greater authority. Deut 30:9 - This verse gives us THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE. When man was creatf, God gave man the right to choose which way he wanted to go. He was given dominion and authority over all the work of God's hands, that is, over all creation. Man knowingly chose to serve the fvil and thus plunged himself into the death penalty. Man set his WILL against God. God honours man's will. God will not violate man's will, although He will reveal to man the consequences of his choices. He will show man the blessings and the curses in their FULL REALITY so that man is withov excuse. Man is a victim of his own choices. *

Most people unfortunately have developed the calculating side rather than the creative side and are bound by scientific facts and figures. Whatever the caseh the mind receives information either from physical stimulus or from spiritual stimulus. It will them assimulate the information and subject it to previous experience and habbit patterns and, accordingly, accept, reject or shelve information. *

Remember that input can come from the SPIRIT or NATURAL world. The soul plays an important role in this - it is the YES and NO part of man. The WILL is the DECIDING FACTOR.

When the input is accepted the EMOTIONS become involved. Actuajy the WILL may present the input to the emotions in making a decision or it might present the information to the INNER MAN or the OUTER MAN.

This is when the will and the mind have PREDETERMINED A CHOICE to please the demands of the EMOTIONS or the SENSES *

STRONG WILLED OR WEAK WILLED:
Some are STRONG WILLED while others are WEAK WILLED. A weak willed person is someone who has subjected his will either to his senses or emotions.
A strong willed person is someone who has subjected all other parts of man to his will - This can be either a blessing or a curse. These people are inclined to manipulate the whole man including the spirit.

This person who has subjected his will to the spirit and the Holy Spirit as well as spiritual exercises. *

-Good desire
It is the desire for the good of mankind.

In other words, they are related to the soul of man. Man convinces himself that he is sick, sets his thoughts on being sick and sets his will on being sick.
