John the baptist,was baptising people to prepare themselves for the coming of the Lord Jesus,he told them to repent and be baptised ,to believe on Him who was coming..Why is it that The Lord Jesus was baptised ? *

He was baptised to fulfill all righteousness (matt 3:15) and bcoz it is essential to enter in2 heaven (john 3:5). altho Christ was the perfect man, he was still born in the flesh and in order 2 return 2 His Father in heaven he hd 2 obey all the spiritual laws. Lastly, He ws baptised as an example 2 us (1peter 2:21) ... in all the things He did, he did them that we might follow Him, n bcome like Him, so tht we 2 may return 2 our Father in heaven. *
